Sales Director for Office Software Solutions is responsible for driving regional revenue growth and sales performance in Southeast Asia. This leadership role requires strategic planning, team management, and relationship-building skills to succeed.
About the Role
This key position will oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies, channel partnerships, and team management to achieve aggressive targets. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the software industry, specifically office software, and proven experience in sales leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement sales strategies to drive regional revenue growth and meet sales targets.
- Channel Development: Build and manage partnerships with local distributors, resellers, and system integrators to strengthen relationships and ensure optimal coverage and performance.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product positioning and sales strategies, working closely with the marketing team to localize campaigns and promotional efforts.
- Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions, negotiating contracts, and closing high-value deals.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of sales experience in the software industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership role, preferably in office software or related sectors.
- Education: Diploma's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong understanding of software sales cycles, licensing models, and SaaS/PaaS solutions, excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve aggressive targets, analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
What We Offer
An estimated annual salary range of SGD $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
