Strategic Account Executive - Software Sales
Brightcove, a leader in the online video industry, is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to expand our footprint in the ASEAN region. This remote position based in Singapore offers a dynamic and influential role for a seasoned sales professional in the SaaS platform domain, specifically targeting media and enterprise customers. The role involves implementing sales strategies, nurturing high-value partnerships, and driving revenue growth by leveraging relationships and navigating complex sales cycles in diverse markets.
Salary:
$216,229.58 - $270,286.98 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create, implement, and manage a sales pipeline to oversee customer leads, outbound activity, and deal prioritization.
Develop and sustain robust partnerships, providing support and strategic guidance to enhance product and solution offerings.
Drive the acquisition of new partnerships through effective relationship-building and skilled commercial negotiations.
Identify, recruit, and onboard VAR and OEM partners to broaden market reach and increase revenue.
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
Develop a wide network of relationships across business units and industries to support sales initiatives.
Articulate and promote the value propositions of our platform effectively to diverse audiences.
Collaborate with virtual territory teams to align on and execute sales strategies.
Prepare detailed territory plans and provide comprehensive deal overviews and contract summaries to stakeholders.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
8+ years of direct sales experience in a leading software or enterprise platform sales environment.
Proven ability to engage and drive conversations at the CXO level along with technical stakeholders like software developers and IT architects.
Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets through direct sales and strategic partnerships.
Proficient in strategies for sell with, sell to, sell through models, co-branding, and OEM.
Experience in effectively addressing customer needs and providing solutions through new products and services.
Proficiency in using CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with channel partners and channel sales in the SEA, India, and Australia regions.
Deep domain expertise in ad-supported media/video use cases.
Demonstrated creativity in deal structuring and negotiation.
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Highly organized, motivated, and team-oriented.
Strong presentation and demonstration skills, capable of engaging and influencing others.
Strategic thinking with the ability to execute on priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating self-drive and initiative.
