About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Oracle Transaction Monitoring and Customer Risk Rating solution team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the technology platform that processes the bank's payments through behavior detection algorithms to detect suspicious and fraudulent activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and work with various stakeholders to define data requirements for various products that need to be sourced for the CRR and Transaction Monitoring systems.
  • Design and develop processes to ensure that the data being sourced meets the data quality standards that have been designed.
  • Work with development teams to ensure that all data transformation logic has been adequately developed and tested.
  • Design and adhere to processes to ensure exceptions are captured and there is governance around how they are managed.
  • Develop metrics around data quality to track the quality of data being sourced.
  • Define and implement a robust data governance model around the data that is being sourced to ensure that any risks are identified and mitigated.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in data sourcing and mapping, data quality management, data governance, exception management, and financial services. The ideal candidate will have:

  • University degree, preferably in technology or engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing data for financial service systems, preferably in the compliance domain such as Transaction Monitoring Systems and Customer Risk Rating.
  • Very good understanding of payments and data coming from settlement systems, including the flow of funds, payment messaging formats such as Swift, and systems such as ACH, Fedwire, etc.
  • Very good experience with designing and developing interfaces for data sourced from KYC and Payment systems.
  • At least 8 plus years of experience with data sourcing and mapping, data quality management, data governance, exception management, preferably in Financial Services.
  • Good experience with defining and ongoing management of requirements for ETL processes that transform data from source.
  • Large-scale experience implementing data governance processes and methodologies in Financial Services organizations.
  • Very good experience with SQL, preferably on Oracle.
  • Experience with developing transformations with Informatica tool is a big plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with key business partners, understand financial markets and regulation, and apply analytics to drive commercial value.
