We are seeking a seasoned User Experience Designer to lead our 12-week Bootcamp in Singapore. As a respected expert in the field, you will shape the skills and minds of the next generation of product designers.

Our bootcamp is a rigorous, transformational journey where students learn and practice the skills and mindsets to take on new careers in product design roles. We deliver more than just skills training, and we're looking for teachers who share our passion for facilitating and mentoring a community of lifelong learners pursuing their passions.

This role is based in Singapore and requires a high degree of autonomy, with close collaboration with our instructional team. You will guide students through development of a stellar capstone project that showcases their abilities to hiring managers, while also inspiring them to persevere through challenges and learning barriers.

We are looking for an experienced professional with at least 3-5 years of experience working in user experience design on a product team. You should have fluency in some or all of the following topics: the UX process, user research and personas, usability testing, UX analysis, information architecture, interface design, wireframing, prototyping, analytics and optimization, mobile UX, and/or HTML/CSS.

Priority will be given to applicants with experience using Figma in a professional capacity, including creation of component libraries, design systems, and high-fidelity prototypes. Familiarity with emerging features like Figma AI, Figma slides, and developer mode is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of real-time collaboration, developer handoff, and plugins. They will also be able to adapt our global curriculum and use it to guide their teaching, building their own lesson plans as needed and sharing their lessons with the larger instructional community.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Commit a few hours per week preparing lessons and materials, leveraging existing GA content.
  • Work closely with co-instructors and/or teaching assistants to provide students with meaningful and prompt feedback on their progress.
  • Guide students through development of a stellar capstone project that showcases their abilities to hiring managers.
  • Facilitate a dynamic, collaborative, and positive classroom community.
