Job Opportunity: Senior Trade Manager

The role of a Senior Trade Manager is to oversee the overall trade strategy and volume development in one direction. This involves driving and defining the trade strategy for the region, working closely with countries and partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic management of trade volumes and profitability
  • Defining and implementing trade strategies in collaboration with regional teams
  • Developing relationships with core carriers and negotiating rates and conditions
  • Providing market information and insights to support business decisions

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong commercial acumen and result-oriented mindset
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to manage functional teams virtually and lead internal meetings
  • Experience in Trade Management and Ocean Freight

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Degree holder with relevant post-graduate qualifications an advantage
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in the OFR forwarding industry
  • Leadership potential with successful individual contributor track record
  • Good carrier contacts
