Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team in providing engineering support to ensure the efficient running of daily building and M&E operations
  • Execute effectively building maintenance programmes such as preventive and corrective regime, inspection schedules and programmes relating to the retail mall
  • Oversee and ensure that the M&E services of the building are in optimal operational level, maintained in accordance to SOPs and contractual terms
  • Conduct daily routine inspection on the building and M&E systems such as electrical, lighting, chiller control, air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation, pumps, fire protection, BMS and plumbing/sanitary, etc. to identify malfunction
  • Inspects new installation for compliance with building guidelines, codes and safety regulations
  • To report on breakdowns, irregularities, defects, maintenance activities and record stock inventories
  • To attend to Tenants' feedback, complaints and service requests and ensure service assistance is rendered to the Tenants timely
  • Performs troubleshooting and attend to equipment breakdown calls
  • Performs assigned day-to-day repairs and rectification works promptly
  • Escort, supervise and monitor contractors in routing servicing and emergency repair works
  • Ensure proper recording and control of keys movement and take necessary action on remedial actions promptly
  • Attend all operational issues and emergency situations promptly and rectify with minimal disruption or inconvenience
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Diploma or Higher/NITEC in Facility Technology (Mechanical & Electrical Services)/ Facility Management/ Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Facility Maintenance including retail mall operations
  • Proficient in MS Office - Word and Excel
  • Familiar with maintenance of building M&E systems
  • Possess experience in painting, masonry, carpentry, and ironmongery works would be advantageous
  • Good leadership and communication skills
  • Dedicated and must be a good teamplayer
  • Positive attitude, people-oriented and able to work independently
  • Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays
