About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Executive to join our team at TOKIO MARINE INSURANCE SINGAPORE LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling claims expeditiously, professionally, and equitably within agreed service benchmarks or applicable protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, adjusters, investigators, lawyers, 3rd party claimants, group companies, and other stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently.
- Train and guide assistants in their support role to ensure seamless claim handling.
- Manage and process claims in a timely and realistic manner, ensuring reserves are provided or updated accordingly.
- Collaborate with underwriters to advise on issues discovered during claims handling, such as policy wording gaps and risk improvement opportunities.
- Review files periodically to ensure compliance with protocols and service benchmarks.
- Pursue and follow up on recovery claims as required.
- Compile monthly/quarterly statistics and other relevant data as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of Diploma and Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or related discipline, such as a Degree in Maritime Studies.
- ACII/AAII qualifications or relevant insurance equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Relevant experience will be an added advantage.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to multitask, work as a team player, and demonstrate a customer-focused approach.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
