This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient processing and resolution of claims while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance claims, particularly in accident and health and motor claim sectors, and the ability to navigate the regulatory landscape in Singapore.

Responsibilities: Oversee the entire claims process – primarily focusing on accident and health with a minor motor insurance portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate claim assessments and settlements.

Manage and mentor a team of claims professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous professional development.

Manage third party service providers' overall performance and its service deliverables.

Ensure all claims processes comply with relevant regulations and company policies, keeping abreast of changes in legislation affecting the insurance industry in Singapore.

Enhance customer experience by implementing best practices in claims handling and addressing escalated customer queries and concerns.

Prepare and present regular reports on claims performance, trends, and operational efficiencies to senior management.

Work closely with underwriting, legal, and compliance teams to mitigate risks and improve claim outcomes.

Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives (such as straight-through processing) to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Work Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in claims management within the insurance industry, with a focus on accident and health.

Candidates with third-party service provider experience are welcomed.

Qualifications: Tertiary Degree, Business Administration or equivalent.

Possess insurance-related qualifications such as CGI, CII or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of Singapore’s insurance regulations and industry practices.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.

Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
