We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our kitchen team.
- Culinary Execution:
- Taking full responsibility for designated kitchen sections, preparing and presenting dishes according to brand standards for taste, quality, and presentation.
- Ensuring mise en place is consistently prepared ahead of service.
- Kitchen Operations & Hygiene:
- FOLLOWING ALL FOOD SAFETY, HYGIENE, AND SANITATION GUIDELINES AS PER SFA AND INTERNAL SOPs.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your section throughout prep and service.
- alerting Head Chef of any discrepancies in quality, portioning, or freshness.
- Stock & Cost Awareness:
- Assisting with daily inventory and portion control to minimize waste.
- Monitoring proper usage and storage of ingredients to ensure consistency and reduce spoilage.
- Receiving and checking deliveries when required.
- Team Support & Communication:
- Working collaboratively with other kitchen stations to ensure smooth operations.
- Guiding and supporting junior staff.
- Developing a positive, team-oriented work culture.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CDP or 3 years as Commis/Demi CDP in a high-paced kitchen.
- Experience in Japanese cuisine preferred.
- Proficiency in cooking techniques.
- Food Hygiene certification required.
- Ability to handle high-volume service while maintaining quality and calmness.
- Ability to work flexible hours/shift, including weekends and public holidays.
