Head of Kitchen Operations

We are seeking an experienced Head of Kitchen Operations to lead our culinary team at a luxurious restaurant in Central, Singapore. As our ideal candidate, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in managing kitchen operations while maintaining the highest culinary standards.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of cooking experience in high-end restaurants, with a strong background in Japanese or French cuisine. A background in High-end Japanese Izakaya is highly valued. Our ideal candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent team management skills, and demonstrate self-motivation to drive success.
About the Role:
- Lead the culinary team to create menus that appeal to customers and meet culinary standards
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain equipment
- Ensure sanitation practices meet safety and hygiene standards
- Develop and manage kitchen budgets, estimate staff workload, and ensure accurate compensation
