The role of an Application Manager is to oversee multiple application service teams, ensuring effective planning, delivery, and ongoing support of IT solutions. They are accountable for resource management, project execution, and service reliability while driving alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage application services teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects and operations.
  • Drive IT program planning, budgeting, and execution within agreed timelines, cost, and scope.
  • Oversee project risks, interdependencies, and vendor/partner management to achieve business goals.
  • Monitor IT operations and provide support for relevant application systems.
  • Ensure all initiatives meet performance standards, budget controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Build, coach, and develop team members to strengthen technical and leadership capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align on priorities during implementation and post-implementation phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in application development and operations, including 8+ years in management roles.
  • Strong track record in project, vendor, and change management.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP solutions (SAP RISE, Oracle Campus, or Salesforce).
  • Proficient in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
  • Familiar with IIS Server, MS SQL Server, and Visual Studio; exposure to Outsystems and .NET Core is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Capable of guiding system design discussions and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
