Executive Director of Manufacturing and Regional Excellence

The incumbent will provide leadership to all manufacturing plants in a specific region, supply chain operations, and continuous improvements. Ensuring a comprehensive and integrated strategy in support of both short and long-term business objectives.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing manufacturing strategies, understanding business strategies to optimize manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and sales fulfillment. Providing leadership to all manufacturing plants to effectively execute agreed-upon manufacturing strategies and ensure achievement of key financial performance and operational results/metrics including budget, quality, service, cost, safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Ensure that operational excellence principles are embedded in all aspects of the business, foster cross-functional collaboration, and support the implementation of operational excellence strategies.
Required Skills and QualificationsA master's degree is preferred (MBA, MS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations). More than 10 years' experience in a leadership role in Manufacturing with thorough understanding of manufacturing strategies and tactics.
Working knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, Validation, SAP/APO. Strategic agility and business/financial acumen. Track record of developing strategies and excellence in execution. Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a highly matrix organization.
Strong verbal and written communications. Demonstrated ability to influence others is key. Planning skills, highly analytical, and ability to resolve issues. Ability to lead/manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
