About Our Client
Our client is a leading manufacturer of pumping solutions and equipment, specialising in water management and cooling technologies.
Job Description
Based in Singapore or Malaysia, you will serve as the Finance Business Partner for the client across Southeast Asia (SEA). In this role, you will guide and advise the SEA Management team on all financial and business matters, including financial planning, controlling, accounting, and treasury.
Your responsibilities will include driving substantial and sustainable business growth across the region, building and leading a strong finance team, and ensuring compliance across all business operations.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as Finance Business Partner to the SEA Director and a key member of the SEA senior leadership team.
Drive business planning, operational support, and growth initiatives across the region.
Lead financial planning & analysis, risk management, and support strategic investment decisions.
Oversee finance operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
Manage tax reporting, audits, and adherence to accounting standards and regional regulations.
Provide leadership to the finance team and engage with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
The Successful Applicant
Experienced finance professional holding CPA/CA/ACCA qualifications, with over a decade of leadership in multinational industrial manufacturing organisations.
Demonstrated expertise in regional financial planning, consolidation, treasury management, and strategic investment.
In-depth understanding of international accounting standards, compliance, and cross-border financial management.
Exceptional analytical skills paired with solid business acumen, with the ability to connect financial outcomes to business strategy.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Strategic business partner with proven leadership skills, capable of advising and guiding the SEA Management team; willing to travel frequently within SEA.
