About the Team
Sea operates three core businesses: digital entertainment (Garena), e-commerce (Shopee), and digital payments and financial services (Monee). Garena develops and publishes online games globally. Shopee is the largest pan-regional e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. Monee provides digital payments and financial services in Southeast Asia.
Job Description
Collaborate with local finance teams on month-end closing, system data accuracy, and accounting-related matters.
Perform analysis on the financial performance of the banking segment and operational statistics at regional and local levels.
Support banking segment objectives during budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
Identify issues and coordinate with stakeholders on projects such as revenue recognition, process improvements, and system implementations.
Provide data, insights, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
At least 1 year of relevant experience; Big 4 banking experience is preferred.
Strong team player with a focus on excellence and continuous improvement.
Passionate about finance with a willingness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and deliver results.
Strong analytical and logical skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
