Regional Manufacturing Excellence Specialist APAC - Your future position?

As the ManEx Specialist, you will oversee the on-time completion of projects, and the savings generated in projects led or supported by ManEx and PT across APAC.

Reporting to: Head of ManEx & Process Technology APAC

Main Responsibilities

  1. Contribute to Major ManEx and Process Engineering Projects
  2. Share best practices in the region (Gap Assessments, updates, support to implement actions, trainings, skill development)
  3. Lead as Programme manager for Digitalization, Analytics, and Automation in APAC to build roadmaps with key partners and site teams
  4. Help implement the UNS (Unified Namespace) project and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) as the APAC coordinator
  5. Participate as a team member in APAC projects, supporting skills matrix development, tailored training programs, GPS Gap assessments, and quality improvements
  6. Represent quality and process efficiency requirements (URS) in CAPEX projects and site masterplans, supporting qualification and commissioning of new installations
  7. Promote connectivity, coherence, and integration between sites, businesses, and central functions, aligning capabilities with business priorities

Lead smaller and medium-sized ManEx and Process Engineering Projects

  1. Review, analyze, update, and support improvement of internal quality performance indicators (Z2Q and Z2P trends)
  2. Drive cross-functional engagement in industrialization performance, manufacturing instruction compliance, continuous improvement maturity, and audits
  3. Collaborate with various departments including Continuous Improvement, Regional Process Engineering, Packaging, and Supply Chain Management in APAC and globally

Main Requirements

  1. Technical university degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science
  2. Minimum 5 to 15 years of working experience
  3. At least 3 years of function-related experience (not mandatory specific to Process Engineering or Manufacturing Excellence)
  4. Experience in B2B or FMCG industries
  5. Experience in digitalization, automation projects, or data analytics initiatives
  6. Experience in Continuous Improvement and LEAN Green Belt certification
