APAC Regional Manufacturing Leader is a key role that oversees the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of internal and external synthesis and production assets within the region.

  • This leader is accountable for ensuring alignment with EH&S, Quality, Supply, Productivity, People, Cost Management, etc. Ensure metrics are in place to track and communicate performance.">
  • Provide input for 0-2 manufacturing cost forecast and performance, for both fixed and variable costs (considering idle mills, project expenses, plant inventory write-offs).

This role requires strong leadership and strategic thinking to drive business outcomes and achieve operational excellence. It involves close collaboration with site leaders, external manufacturing partners, and other stakeholders to ensure resources are available to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities">
  • Set expectations and ensure alignment for regional synthesis and production teams in relation to EH&S, Quality, Supply, Productivity, People, Cost Management, etc. Ensure metrics are in place to track and communicate performance.">
  • Provide input for 0-2 manufacturing cost forecast and performance, for both fixed and variable costs (considering idle mills, project expenses, plant inventory write-offs).">

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical manufacturing, process safety, health and safety knowledge, people leadership, and site leadership. They must be able to develop annual goals and objectives, and performance targets for regional F&P and EM synthesis teams, in alignment with business needs.

  • Agree short-term manufacturing strategy and capacity consumption targets/profiles (RCCP)">
  • Agree what facilities and resources are required to execute the ARPs (personnel, training, onboarding, site logistics, maintenance, waste, improvements, etc.)">
  • Communicate EH&S/Quality related incidents and their ongoing progress to IOLT and other stakeholders as relevant">
  • Timely communicate constraints or threats to weekly and monthly production plans to IOLT and other relevant stakeholders">
  • Communicate regional allocations (active ingredients, co-formulants, or packaging constraints) to relevant stakeholders">
  • Communicate to regional CU leaders any F&P plant shutdowns, logistics disruptions, natural disasters, quality issues, etc., impacting Corteva business">
