APAC Supply Chain Leader

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our APAC supply chain and manufacturing operations.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for building a robust and adaptable supply chain, optimizing the performance of our production line, and shepherding new products through NPI and launch.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on manufacturing experience of consumer products, a proven track record of driving efficiency and quality improvements, and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with US-based leadership to define short-term priorities between regions and long-term roles and responsibilities between US and Asia-based teams
  • Managing an organization of 20+ employees responsible for end-to-end supply chain functions
  • Developing strategic initiatives and sourcing roadmaps to improve cost, quality, and performance of our supply chain
  • Owning NPI timelines, factory readiness, and holding regular in-region ramp reviews
  • Building audit procedures and cadences to ensure high-quality production
  • Working with your team to develop measurement technologies, control strategies, and manufacturing methods required to build high-quality products
  • Managing all manufacturing equipment sourcing, evaluation, and bring-up
  • Building partnerships with critical suppliers and building resilience in the supply chain

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience building and leading an organization
  • Extensive hands-on manufacturing experience of consumer products
  • Ability to work with contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure highest quality product
  • Drive inefficiencies out of a manufacturing line without compromising quality
  • Expertise in contracts, price negotiation, performance metrics, and oversight of contract manufacturers
  • Implement cutting-edge manufacturing processes to identify problems and rapidly adapt to evolving designs
  • Love data and perform sophisticated analytics to improve operations
  • Can travel to key manufacturing and supplier sites around the world
  • Process-oriented but ready to be agile and innovative
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin

Bonus skills:

  • 2D or 3D print industry experience
  • Programming proficiency, particularly Python
