The Supply Chain Excellence Leader is accountable for core cross functional processes within APAC Supply Chain that facilitate strategy deployment, governance and reporting, business planning, development of targeted capabilities and major programs. This individual partners with global teams and regional SC functional leaders to help shape and influence design of key initiatives and processes in line with regional operating plans. This leader will drive excellence across e-Commerce, Customer Collaboration, Digitalization, EtE Portfolio Management, EtE SC performance management, agility standardization, inventory optimization, S&OP excellence, advanced analytics, APAC SCLT meeting management and budget planning processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES
1. Drives execution of APAC Consumer Health Supply Chain strategy in partnership with the APAC Supply Chain Leadership team (LT). Collaborates closely with the rest of the Supply Chain LT to strengthen overall value of the supply chain organization for our business and customers.
2. Enables business results improvements through the centralized management/accountability of major cross-functional programs including but not limited to regional inventory management governance, Smart Operations, eCommerce, Learning & Development and Budget cycle strategic investment updates.
3. Advances the GP improvement strategy for APAC in collaboration with Commercial and Supply Chain functions.
4. Owns regional and global metrics generation and reporting; promotes excellence in execution and provides expertise in the areas of process improvement in partnership with Plan and Make Excellence teams. Manages the OGSM/OKR process setting and tracking.
5. Owns and monitors the APAC SC Performance process and governance model for the APAC E2E SC team as well as the A&D Program management. Owns strategic & business planning processes orchestrating BP, LE and LRFP deliverables for the region.
6. Manage a team focus on E2E Portfolio/Program Management, Performance Management, Supply Chain capability building, S&OP Excellence, Analytics & Inventory, Customer Collaboration and E-Commerce.
7. Build and accelerate Data Analytics capabilities across APAC SC to enable an insight-based, data-driven organization. Support Franchise SC Leaders and SC functional leads to drive greater strategic alignment of priorities leveraging analytics. Lead and support the Programs Governance framework.
8. Drive employee engagement and talent strategy for the Supply Chain Excellence team.
9. Lead the deployment of best practices in learning & development, providing for a regimented program to develop the skills and capabilities of our future leaders and emerging talent. Collaborate with functional excellence teams to ensure a holistic approach with balanced focus between building functional expertise and E2E capabilities.
10. Manage effective communication strategies, cascading information about how the EMEA Consumer SC is translating strategy to execution across the entire SC organization
**Qualifications**
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- MBA or other relevant post graduate degree preferred
Experience:
- 15+ years of diverse experience across different areas of supply chain (i.e. Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Project Management, Process Excellence, Warehousing & Distribution) is required.
- Direct experience in strategic roles and process excellence is required.
- 8+ years of demonstrated direct people manager experience is required.
- Experience in fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) or regulated industry preferred.
Preferred Requirements/Competencies:
- Strong partner and influencer to support the broader supply chain goals.
- Demonstrated understanding/ability to consolidate, optimize and prioritize a portfolio of programs under constrained environment in a dynamic manner, specifically allocating and re-allocating resources (budgets, FTEs) across programs is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced financial planning, costing and value creation principles including Return on Capital Employed. Strong business and financial acumen for managing P&L.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve business goals in a complex environment with multiple layers of stakeholders is required.
- Defined experience with change management and demonstrated abilities across any combination of negotiation, financial or analytical skills are required.
- An entrepreneurial self-starter with strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence across functional levels up to and including the Board level is required.
- Demonstrated experience managing ambiguity and white space required.
- Core Supply Chain Competencies specially in Sales & Operations Planning, Project & Portfolio Management functions and end-to-end supply chain management.
