Employee Relations Specialist

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in employee relations, coaching, and consulting to drive positive change within our organization. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and employee well-being.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall job satisfaction.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to managers and employees on sensitive work-related issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and policy compliance.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and concerns, ensuring timely and fair resolutions.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Employment Legal Counsel, and internal stakeholders to develop and maintain employee policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Drive predictive data analysis and trends-based initiatives to inform strategic decision-making and optimize employee relations outcomes.
What You'll Need:

To succeed in this role, you'll require:

  • A minimum 10 years of experience in Employee Relations or HR Business Partnering.
  • Proven track record of leading multiple concurrent employee relations activities with a focus on timely and consistent execution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities, with a strong understanding of diverse personalities, cultures, and backgrounds.
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and make decisions on complex cases and escalations.
  • High degree of ethics and integrity, with a commitment to upholding organizational values and principles.
  • Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience; legal background highly desirable.
