Job Title:

Senior Category Executive

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Category Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for assigned categories within the framework of a focused category management business process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales, profit and income goals through developing and implementing strategic business plans for the assigned categories
  • Develop and implement promotional plans that bring excitement and incremental sales to the stores
  • Establish collaborative retailer/supplier relationships to maximise income/terms/discounts to improve sales and profitability of category
  • Implement a strong corporate label program in the assigned categories to improve the sales and profitability of the company
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail industry
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (i.e vlookup/ pivot table/ sumifs, etc)
  • Good team player who is creative, detail-minded, has excellent communication skills and can work independently
  • Good project management and influencing skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
