Castlery is looking for a **Category Specialist** to join our **eCommerce Platforms Team.**

A newly created role, the **Category Specialist** will be a high-impact role in our Category team, responsible for driving the growth and success of the dedicated brand's assortment range.

They'll work closely with existing category team and external stakeholders to conduct market research, identify market opportunities, and facilitate category planning & development process.

**What you'll be doing**
- To assist the category management team in researching on competitor's advertised price and their assortment trends.
- Conduct market research, to identify furniture design trends and areas of opportunity on marketplaces.
- Provide analysis to support new product/collection launch based on research result
- Supporting the team on long term assortment development planning
- Working closely with internal team (marketing, buying, customer care & operations) to communicate information for pre
- launch and post-launch review.

**What you'll need**
- Must possess strong desire to explore, research and learn. Past experience in market research related is required.
- Past eCommerce knowledge or experience is a plus.
- Strong skills in communication & articulating ideas. Good data analytical skills & strong in critical thinking.
- Willingness to deep dive and solve problems.
- Strong ownership, action driven. Independent learner
- Highly efficient in task management & time management.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred due to frequent collaboration with China based counterparties.
