Director of Guest Services

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the daily guest services operations. This includes managing concierge, bell service, door service, parking valet, and night runners while maintaining high standards and aligning with hotel strategies.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the direction and supervision of all guest services duties in accordance with hotel standards and strategic plans.
  • Manpower planning, recruitment, training, deployment, and liaison between front office departments and other hotels for effective guest experience.
  • Developing, implementing, evaluating, reviewing, and conducting training and audits in line with hotel training and development plans.
  • Management and leadership of the guest services team, including handling capital and asset planning, requisition, and budgeting.
  • Identifying equipment and supplies needs, negotiating with vendors, and issuing, monitoring, and negotiating contracts and agreements involving the department's areas of responsibility.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and revisiting procedures and training manuals for all levels of colleagues and ensuring adherence to hotel operating standards.


The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, be able to motivate and direct colleagues to proactively meet and exceed guest expectations. They should have expertise in human resource and performance management, as well as knowledge of quality management processes and ability to plan, lead, motivate, and control. Additionally, they should be responsive to continuous challenges and improvements, open to making changes to achieve targeted results, and able to build partnerships with other departments to ensure that internal and external customers' needs are satisfied promptly.
