Nurse Educator Role
A professional Nurse Educator is sought to provide guidance and support to nursing staff in enhancing their knowledge, skills, and competence.
About the Role:
This position involves assessing and identifying continuing education, training, and development plans for departmental nursing staff to ensure provision of quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Develop educational programs for nursing staff to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competence.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with nurse managers/clinicians and other health professionals on relevant staff development and in-service education.
- Policy and Procedure: Assist in the preparation, review, and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and clinical competency checklists for the department.
- Career Development: Provide career counselling/coaching for all levels of nursing staff's professional development.
Requirements:
This role requires a degree in Nursing or a related field, along with experience in nursing practice and education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this position.
