As a Nurse Educator and Clinical Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing education and practice. The position is responsible for providing expert clinical education and training to nursing students and newly hired nurses within our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive clinical training programs that cater to the diverse needs of nursing students and new nurses.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions, simulations, and classroom lectures on various nursing topics, ensuring that participants gain practical experience and apply theoretical knowledge effectively.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing students during their clinical rotations, fostering their growth and development as competent nursing professionals.
  • Provide guidance and support to newly hired nurses during their orientation period, facilitating a smooth transition into their roles.
Curriculum Development and Quality Assurance:
  • Collaborate with educational institutions and healthcare professionals to design and update nursing curricula, ensuring that they align with the latest clinical practices, nursing standards, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student and staff performance, evaluations, and progress, enabling data-driven decision-making and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and relevant post-basic advanced certificates. A Master's degree in Nursing or Nursing Education is preferred.
  • Licensure: Registered Nurse with a valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) license.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a teaching or mentoring role.
  • Certifications: Nurse Education (e.g., CNE) or equivalent is preferred. Advanced training certificates (e.g., ACLP) are an advantage.
