Training and Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to train and develop our nursing staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for nursing staff.
  • Conduct on-the-job training and competency assessments.
  • Create an optimal clinical learning environment and preceptorship programs for new staff.
  • Cultivate strong generic and specialty nursing practices through coordinated training activities.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for Nurse Managers, providing guidance on training and standards of care.
  • Design and deliver hospital-based training programs in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and education for non-nursing staff and volunteers as needed.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing (Specialist Diploma in Clinical Education preferred).
  • Registered Nurse with relevant certifications.
  • Several years of clinical care experience.
  • Clinical Instructor Certificate or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations.
