Southeast Asia Agency Relationship Management Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our agency relationship management efforts in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and managing sales teams, as well as a strong understanding of the media agency business.

About the Position:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Head of Agency Relationship Management in Southeast Asia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the vision and strategy for how our advertising solutions can reach thousands of users across the region.

You will build, lead, and develop a regional team of industry-leading Agency Relationship managers to establish sustainable and mutually beneficial partner relationships with media partners across the Southeast Asia region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Build, lead, and develop a regional team of Agency Relationship managers to own Google's relationship with Big Networks as business leaders, by developing and executing quality agency partnership plans, with an eye toward proactively co-developing agency capabilities grounded in Google products and platforms.
  • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements to grow or defend Google's share of wallet.
  • Accelerate account growth by leading a One Google Team approach, partnering across internal stakeholders.
  • Lead Agency stakeholders through industry-defining moments (e.g. Privacy, Brand Safety), be a trusted Subject Matter Expert for Agency Leaders.
  • Oversee Commercial agreements with Agencies in partnership with the Southeast Asia agreements Lead.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, and at least 12 years of experience in agency partnerships, media buying, marketing or advertising agencies or digital marketing industry. They will also have experience in people management, and preferred qualifications include 3 years of experience in building and managing sales teams, experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management, and experience managing agreements or partnerships.
