About the Role

This is a key leadership position in our team responsible for driving the development of the National Service (NS) Gallery project. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative environment where they will conceptualise, strategise and deliver world-class exhibitions showcasing Singapore's NS story.

The NSG aims to be a leading exhibition that imparts audiences with an understanding of Singapore's vulnerabilities, the importance and significance of NS, and why we ourselves must defend Singapore. This requires exceptional programme management skills, strategic thinking and ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve this vision.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing public programming, education and events strategies that complement NSG exhibitions.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to collaborate on opportunities and programming efforts such as learning journeys with schools and relevant educational institutions.
  • Working closely with internal and external partners/agencies to deliver project objectives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • A good honours or postgraduate degree in Arts or Social Sciences with a keen interest in Singapore's social and military history.
  • At least 10 years of experience in programme management, business development and fundraising/sponsorship related fields.
  • Strong command of both spoken and written English and proficiency in one other vernacular language.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills with prior experience in managing projects in related areas.
