The gallery aims to be a world-class exhibition that imparts audiences with an understanding of Singapore's vulnerabilities, the importance and significance of NS, and why we must defend Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- We will develop and plan public programming, education and events around the NSG for place-making and buzz-generation.
- We will conduct volunteer management for the NSG.
- We will develop and operationalise business development plans, including retail strategies and partnerships to ensure business continuity.
- We will cultivate and maintain relationships with sponsors, donors, and foundations for fundraising and sponsorship efforts.
- We will work closely with internal and external stakeholders from partners, sponsors, donors, and fundraisers to provide updates to the NS Gallery Task Force and Working Groups.
Challenges:
- We need to ensure our programming and offerings meet Singapore's reputation and attract repeat visitors.
- We have to balance needs and requirements of different stakeholders.
- We must deliver projects on schedule and within budget, and the gallery meeting its overall intent and objective.
Requirements
- Educational Requirements: A good honours or postgraduate degree in Arts or Social Sciences, with a keen interest in Singapore's social and military history.
- 7 years of relevant work experience in programming, business development and fundraising, sponsorship and/or related fields.
- A strong command of both spoken and written English, and proficiency in one other vernacular language.
- Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills, and prior experience in project management in related areas.
