About the Role

The role of Key Policy Strategist involves leading a team to assess and analyse markets relating to competition and consumer policy matters.

This will be in support of our vision to empower the info-communications sector that drives the economy, bonds communities, and powers a Smart Nation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Formulation: Lead the team to undertake robust and deep analysis of policy and regulatory issues concerning competition and consumer matters.
  • Obtain perspectives from internal and external stakeholders to develop sound policy recommendations.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure strong policy implementation of frameworks and regulations for competition and consumer policy matters.
  • Enforce these frameworks when necessary, including assessing potential breaches of relevant codes.
  • Manage and resolve cases by coordinating with stakeholders from various sectors.
  • Coordinate with various government agencies and collaborate to facilitate infrastructure deployment, improving service quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Background in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the telecommunications, media, postal sectors, or related fields, with supervisory experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Resourceful, motivated, with analytical and creative thinking.
  • Result-oriented, stakeholder-focused, capable of multitasking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in cross-team projects.
