Job Title: Site Development Specialist
About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Development Specialist to join our team. As a Site Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing detailed designs, conducting feasibility assessments and site inspections, preparing and implementing project plans, researching and providing estimates for projects, reviewing government regulations and ordinances, monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance, making recommendations or presenting alternative solutions to problems, and confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing Detailed Designs: You will develop detailed designs for various projects, ensuring that they meet the required specifications and deadlines.
  • Conducting Feasibility Assessments and Site Inspections: You will conduct thorough feasibility assessments and site inspections to identify potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing and Implementing Project Plans: You will prepare and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Researching and Providing Estimates for Projects: You will research and provide estimates for projects, taking into account factors such as materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Reviewing Government Regulations and Ordinances: You will review government regulations and ordinances to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitoring and Optimizing Safety Procedures, Production Processes, and Regulatory Compliance: You will monitor and optimize safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance to minimize risks and improve efficiency.
  • Making Recommendations or Presenting Alternative Solutions to Problems: You will make recommendations or present alternative solutions to problems, working closely with clients and stakeholders to find mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Liaising with Clients and Other Professional Subcontractors: You will confidently liaise with clients and other professional subcontractors to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Related Field: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers, is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: A minimum of TWO years' industry knowledge may be strongly desired.
  • Design Software Skills: Familiarity with design software, such as Autodesk, AutoCad Civil 3D, and MicroStation, is essential.
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a high level of accuracy in calculations and design, are required.
  • Time Management Skills: Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met are essential.
  • Leadership Skills: Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse group of professionals working on one project are required.
  • Project Coordination Skills: Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time is desirable.
  • English Language Proficiency: Competent ability in English is necessary.
  • Flexibility: Can work at weekends and public holidays.
