Site Development Specialist

Job Summary:

The Site Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in the construction project lifecycle, ensuring precision and accuracy in all site-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at sites.
  • Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability of work performed.
  • Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features.
  • Locate and mark sites selected for prospecting activities such as efforts to locate resources.
  • Plan and conduct surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
  • Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and other stakeholders at site.
  • Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma in Land Surveying or Geo-spatial information and technology.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Completed at least one cycle of a building project with a project value of at least $100M.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills.

Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all site-related activities.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills to work with engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and other stakeholders.

Working Conditions:
