Job Role: Building Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections on critical facilities, attending to daily work orders, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. You will also be required to respond to work orders in a timely manner, supervise contractors during servicing, and handle minor rectifications.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge, hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work. A NITEC Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily routine inspections on critical facilities
  • Attend to day-to-day work orders
  • Maintain accurate maintenance checklists
  • Respond to work orders within stipulated timing
  • Supervise contractors during servicing
  • Handle minor rectifications
  • Troubleshoot power switches and light sets
  • Perform multiple repair and maintenance tasks
  • Assist in emergency drills and provide logistical support for events held in the building
  • Work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • NITEC Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • Ability to commit flexible working hours
  • Physical strength to perform demanding works
