Equipment Optimization Specialist


About the Role:

Lumileds is seeking an exceptional equipment specialist to enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of our manufacturing process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading efforts to optimize equipment performance, manage a team of technicians, and ensure throughput targets are met.


Key Responsibilities:

• Drive initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by identifying and addressing equipment performance bottlenecks and downtime issues.

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs related to equipment parts, maintenance, and operations while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Implement strategies for ongoing equipment enhancements, including upgrades, modifications, obsolescence mitigation to meet production goals in both short term and long term.

• Mentor and lead a team of equipment engineers, associations, and technicians in fault investigations, troubleshooting equipment issues.

• Maintain an inventory of critical equipment spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure the availability of necessary components.

• Evaluate and improve maintenance controls and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.

• Support new application development and sustain all existing systems, including process monitoring and data extraction.

What You Will Bring:

• Experience in Wet Cleaning/Wet Etching processes within the semiconductor industry.

• Knowledge in Database (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Science.

Years of Experience:

  • At least 9 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in ATIS Wet Bench, Semitool SRD, 3M WSS system.

• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

• Application experience in SECS-GEM configuration for process monitoring and data extraction.

• Dashboard/report creation with Power BI.
