Job Title: Manufacturing Finance Manager


Objective:


The primary objective of this position is to drive the financial management of manufacturing activities, focusing on cost optimization, process improvement, and strategic planning. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to optimize manufacturing expenses.
  • Collaborate with operations and R&D teams to deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop and maintain a flexible and collaborative working relationship, achieving common objectives of the manufacturing function.
  • Take ownership of ad hoc strategic projects involving in-house manufacturing, driving initiatives to improve process efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:


  • Qualified accountant or equivalent post-graduate qualification with experience in manufacturing finance and costing.
  • At least 7 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in rigorous financial planning, analysis, and proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SAP or other MES/ERP system.
  • Excellent personal and business presentation skills, particularly presenting financial information to non-finance managers and directors.
  • Assertive and able to influence upwards and peers.
  • Good spoken & written English.
  • Strong sense of operational discipline and ability to meet deadlines.
