Your Role
As a member of the Finance Business Advisory team (Strategic MI, Cost and Business Support), you will play a vital role in the regional financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes. Your responsibilities will include providing analytical financial support and collaborating closely with various stakeholders across the APAC Wholesale Banking sector. You will be instrumental in the forecasting process and will contribute to the monthly and quarterly financial performance analysis and reporting. Additionally, you will engage in finance and business initiatives aimed at enhancing results and streamlining processes.
You are results-driven, possess a solid understanding of Wholesale banking products, and have experience in a complex matrix reporting environment. You pay attention to detail while also being able to approach challenges from both analytical and strategic viewpoints. You are self-sufficient, enjoy managing multiple tasks, and excel in stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management: You will deliver financial management reporting for the APAC franchise, ensuring data transparency and providing constructive challenges to drive business performance. Budgeting and Forecasting: You will coordinate and support the ongoing forecasting and budgeting processes for the APAC region. Expense Management: You will analyze expenses, providing insightful comparisons of actuals versus budget variances, and forecast future expenses with a comprehensive understanding of anticipated costs. Strategic Projects: You will actively engage in finance innovation projects aimed at standardizing and optimizing processes, enhancing the quality of management information shared across Asia.Profile & Competencies:

Additionally, you possess:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience; Experience in team settings, with a strong grasp of FP&A processes, particularly in expense management; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Excel Macros, Tableau, PowerBI, and Python is advantageous; A demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across cross-functional teams, influencing senior leaders; A strong team player, self-starter, and motivator, capable of working independently with minimal supervision; A results-oriented mindset, characterized by high energy, flexibility, and effective prioritization skills.Work Environment:
The Management Reporting & Advisory department is responsible for delivering financial reporting and forward-looking insights to the Asia Management Team. The team serves as a crucial link between Finance and other corporate departments, as well as local ING entities. This role involves maintaining day-to-day relationships with stakeholders and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of requirements that support the FP&A process.
