Job Scope

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at Marina Bay Sands. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating marketing events and promotions, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events and promotions, including budgetary requirements.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
  • Coordinate special events media advertising and corporate marketing to achieve desired results.
  • Assist in establishing special events and promotion pro-forma and post-event/promotion evaluation.
  • Liaise with Legal Department for approval of regulatory requirements.
  • Be able to identify marketing segments and plan events and promotions accordingly.
  • Liaise with Audit department to ensure adherence to internal procedures.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Experience in dealing with customer complaints and enquiries would be advantageous.
  • Portray confidence and friendliness to attract customers/audience's attention.
  • Display an outgoing personality with good communication and customer service skills.
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance with the ability to identify visual and aural cues.
  • Work inside and continuously maneuver in and around all areas of the casino with good manual dexterity.
  • Able to work on rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment and stressful situations.
  • Experience in coordination of special or promotional events.
