Senior BIM Manager Job Description

The ideal candidate for this position will hold a specialist diploma in BIM or a degree in architecture, along with at least 8 years of relevant experience in BIM management. Additionally, they must possess strong knowledge of BIM processes, tools, and technologies.

This role involves overseeing the creation of comprehensive BIM Execution Plans, maintaining consistency across projects, and upholding the highest level of quality. To be successful, you must integrate BIM into Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Virtual Design Construction (VDC), and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).

Your responsibilities will include generating clash reports and leading BIM coordination meetings with clients and consultants. You will oversee multidisciplinary coordination, including Phase Planning (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D). You must also troubleshoot issues with models and projects, resolving them efficiently to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation of comprehensive BIM Execution Plans.
