Industry Relations Specialist

\

Cultivate meaningful connections with industry partners to drive student-employer engagement and create opportunities for NUS students.

\

This role involves developing strategic relationships, building trust, and understanding the needs of employers to enhance their hiring experiences and increase job opportunities for our students.

\

The Industry Relations team works closely with employer partners, faculties, and departments to curate industry-oriented training programs that prepare students for a rapidly changing workforce.

\

We seek a skilled professional who can effectively communicate with employers, foster partnerships, and contribute to the career development of NUS students.

\

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to understand their hiring pain points and priorities\
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student-employer engagement and increase job opportunities\
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to curate industry-specific programs and initiatives\
  • Maintain accurate records of employer interactions and provide insightful reports on progress tracking and knowledge sharing\
  • Develop a functional understanding of NUS internship programs and CFG initiatives to effectively pitch them to employer partners\
  • Understand employer partners' businesses and objectives through research and active listening\
  • Develop value propositions and engage in industry analysis to position NUS as a premium talent source\
  • Qualifications: degree holder with up to three years of work experience in strategy, consulting, market research, or human capital development; fresh graduates with strong motivation and drive are welcome to apply\
  • Skillsets and prior experience in marketing, sales, or business development are highly desirable\
  • A proven track record of successful relationship-building and partnership development is essential\
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders\
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative solutions\
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent management is an asset\
  • Familiarity with CRM software and data analytics tools is preferred\
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and social media channels is beneficial\
