Logistical Event Coordinator

Job Description:

  • Manage the logistical setup of events from planning to execution.
  • Oversee and coordinate deliveries, site management, and contractor management.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all logistical setups are done according to schedule and in a safe manner.
  • Work closely with Technical Managers on technical setup.

Scope:

  • Ensure logistical items such as tentage, gallery stands, mobile toilets, and barricades are set up and torn down efficiently.
  • Liaise with contractors and event partners for all set-up, tear-down, and activities on the event site.
  • Coordinate with appointed contractors and event partners for logistical support during rehearsals, technical runs, and actual show days.
  • Document all delivery orders and documents submitted by contractors and event partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up the event site prior to any key component.
  • Manage the car park area and work with security to allow authorized vehicles to enter or park.
  • Assist in supervising rectification works by the contractor and ensure satisfactory handing over of all site matters.
  • Involve in pre-condition and post-condition checks of the event site and support documentation of any defects spotted.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Singaporean or PR holder.
  • Min 6 years' experience in event management, preferably in event setting.
  • Medically fit and able to work under rain and sun.
  • 5 days work week, must be comfortable working on weekends.
  • Must be available by mid-November and willing to serve for 3-6 months.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of site planning and management.
