Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customer business contacts in IT and other departments to identify opportunities using industry-specific language.
  • Achieve a high level of activity weekly to create and develop a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Secure new business on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Keep precise records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and forecasted opportunities in our Customer Connect system.
  • Foster proactive relationships and collaborate with extended Cloud technology teams, including Marketing, Business Development, Presales, and Customer Success.
  • Formulate and implement a sales strategy that ensures comprehensive coverage of your territory and sector.
  • Develop relevant sales programs and solutions; maintain current competitive insights and compile regional success stories.
  • Lead successful go-to-market initiatives by partnering closely with internal marketing specialists.
  • Contribute to account planning, customer and market analysis, and strategic discussions.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member, providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong advocate for the Cloud model and customer success.
  • Innovative thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, volume-driven environment.
  • Committed to continuous learning and self-improvement.
  • Experience in software sales, particularly with Cloud services, is advantageous.
  • Proven success in a sales-oriented organization, particularly in technology-related products and services.
  • Familiarity with public and private cloud solutions, business analytics, and big data is a plus.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of an extended sales team.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure products is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Team-oriented and self-driven.
