">Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and audit functions for all APAC entities.

This key position is responsible for providing financial leadership, ensuring robust financial controls, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across APAC entities.
  • Prepare and consolidate financial statements in compliance with IFRS/US GAAP.
  • Manage regional P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to regional and global leadership.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Oversee the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions and performance improvement.
  • Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, investigating variances and trends.
Compliance & Control:
  • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
  • Develop and maintain robust internal control systems and risk management frameworks.
  • Manage external audits and coordinate with local authorities and auditors as needed.
Business Partnering:
  • Collaborate closely with country managers and functional leaders across the region.
  • Support commercial teams with financial analysis, pricing, cost control, and investment appraisal.
  • Act as a strategic partner to regional leadership, contributing to business planning and growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in finance, including regional oversight.
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and/or local and US GAAPs across APAC jurisdictions.
  • Strong experience in multinational corporations.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems (SAP).
  • Fluent in English; additional Asian language(s) a plus.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
