Compliance Manager Role

This role plays a vital part in ensuring the company adheres to regulatory requirements.

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive compliance frameworks to manage risks and ensure regulatory compliance. This includes collaborating with internal teams to create policies, SOPs, and internal controls for effective regulatory compliance programs.

  • Act as the company's Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance frameworks to manage risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Manage relationships with regulators, handle queries, and address concerns related to AML and compliance activities.
  • Oversight of new services and product launches to ensure compliance with existing legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for addressing breaches or violations of compliance obligations.
  • Lead internal and external audits of compliance and regulatory processes, respond to findings, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Generate regular regulatory performance reports for the company, including strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a regulatory compliance role
  • Relevant experience in payments, fintech, banking, financial institutions, or related sectors
  • Proven ability to independently manage compliance and regulatory matters
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, balancing business needs and regulatory obligations
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with regulators and understanding diverse regulatory requirements
  • Leadership capability to mentor and guide compliance teams
  • Skilled in managing multiple complex compliance projects simultaneously
