Job Overview

Our organization seeks a seasoned Compliance Officer to spearhead our compliance framework. This key role demands exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct thorough screening and due diligence reviews of prospects and referral partners to ensure seamless onboarding processes.
  • Monitor existing clients continuously to guarantee adherence to internal policies and regulations.
  • Develop and enhance the company's compliance framework, fostering a robust risk management environment.
  • Conduct post-transaction reviews to verify compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Oversee CPD training hours for licensed representatives, maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive compliance reports to senior management and relevant authorities.
  • Assess outsourced service providers and manage the Outsourcing Register of Outsourced Service Providers.
  • Provide expert guidance on compliance-related queries from staff members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance roles within the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Financial Advisers Act (FAA), Insurance Act, MAS Notices/Guidelines, or Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework is an added advantage.
