Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team in Singapore. The role involves monitoring geopolitical developments and regulatory changes daily to ensure compliance with international trade and sanctions laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will lead or coordinate efforts to monitor and interpret international trade and sanctions laws affecting the Asia Pacific region, including U.S., E.U., and regional regulations.

The key responsibilities include analyzing impacts of regulatory changes and supporting the development of processes to ensure compliance, communicating changes and advocating for regulatory updates at the APAC level, reviewing contracts for compliance with trade laws, developing templates, and conducting training on export control and sanctions clauses.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; law or advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive export control experience, preferably in a multinational company.
  • 10-15 years of knowledge in export control and sanctions regulations, including licensing, classification, reporting, and program management.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% domestically and internationally.
  • Proven leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication skills.

This position is based in Singapore and reports to the Regional Export Control Director, Asia Pacific, within the Global Export Control Center of Excellence.
