The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will provide strategic guidance on regulatory matters across the firm's operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing the organization's regulatory compliance framework, focusing on Singapore's regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the organization's regulatory compliance framework, focusing on Singapore's regulations.
  2. Monitor key jurisdictions for regulatory developments and adjust compliance protocols to mitigate enforcement risks.
  3. Provide end-to-end regulatory guidance for M&A and capital markets transactions in Singapore and other key jurisdictions.
  4. Liaise with regulators, including MAS, SGX, SEC, and FCA, on regulatory matters.
  5. Manage the compliance of the firm's regulatory approvals across global jurisdictions.
  6. Assess the impact of regulatory changes on the firm's activities.
  7. Collaborate with legal colleagues and external counsel on complex regulatory matters.
  8. Design and deliver regulatory trainings for relevant personnel.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in legal practice, banking, or regulatory positions within the financial services industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks.
  3. Expertise in transactional regulations, such as the Singapore Takeovers Code.
  4. Experience with licensing applications and regulatory filings for financial institutions.
  5. Familiarity with licensing requirements in key global regulatory regimes.
  6. Strong analytical skills, good working knowledge with data, and ability to think strategically.
  7. Excellent communication skills and confidence to engage stakeholders and external regulators.
  8. Project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
  9. Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
