
Payroll and Benefits Specialist

The primary function of this role is to oversee the administration of employee benefits and compensation, ensuring that all aspects are handled efficiently and effectively.
This position involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including payroll vendors, to support the remuneration schemes in place within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of total benefits frameworks and policies, as well as industry trends and best practices.
Responsibilities include designing and administering non-monetary compensation/benefits packages that meet employee profiles and organisational needs. This requires a deep understanding of the company's brand and employee value proposition.
Additionally, this role involves deploying analytic tools to predict employee trends, measure the impact and relevance of IRAS' benefits, and recommend appropriate policies.
Other key responsibilities include administering employee benefits, policies, and procedures on IRAS employment terms and conditions, communicating key points of HR policies and processes to employees and line managers, and identifying opportunities to improve user experience and streamline processes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include:
- Ensuring accurate and timely remuneration payments to employees
- Designing and implementing effective employee benefits programs
- Providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills
