**The job duties of this role will include**:
1) Total Rewards Administration Tasks / Flexible Benefits Administration:
- Monthly process including consolidation of the movement information for enrollment / de-enrollment in the monthly movement file, check dependent information and updates for accuracy and completeness, work with vendor to obtain the employee claims information, verification of the claim information for reimbursement, splitting up the invoices by various entities to provide payment instruction.
- Annual processing tasks such as report generation, clean-up of enrollment, eligibility changes and vendor invoice processing.
- Attending to front line employee queries on benefits claims and providing vendor with ad-hoc updates as needed.
2) Medical Benefits and Insurances
- Enrollment and de-enrollment of employees and dependents with the various providers and schemes based on individual employee and dependent eligibility requirements.
- Administration of panel clinic activities, medical check-up activities (Hire, work pass, re-employment), appointment bookings, medical claims. If needed, to instruct payroll deduction for impacted employees
- Annual Insurance premium invoices processing, medical invoices processing, payment vouchers and follow-up with Finance if needed.
- Administration of Company Travel Insurance including COI requests, Travel Kits and first line employee queries
- Administration of WICA Insurance
3) Supplementary Retirement scheme
4) Employee Share Plan Administration
5) Labour Market Surveys
6) Benefits audits
7) Payroll Processing Tasks (6 Legal entities)
- Consolidation and review of payroll instructions and inputs (Overtime, Benefits information, Leave) from COEs, HR partners, external vendors and selected Managers. Providing a complete and accurate payroll instruction to the downstream payroll specialist for payment.
- Management of National Service Claims and deductions from payroll.
- Request for payroll related payments (Supplementary Retirement Scheme, etc) and preparation of payroll vouchers for payment to Bank.
**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:
- At least 2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in Singapore is required for degree holders and 8 years experience for non-degree holders.
- Technically inclined and good with numbers, Payroll systems and MS Excel.
- Good communication skills and able to manage customer enquiries.
- Able to work independently and prioritize work tasks. Organized and able to follow-up with stakeholders to achieve deadlines.
- Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and familiarity with government claims schemes is strongly preferred (NS Pay / Maternity / Paternity / Childcare / Shared Parental leave schemes).
- Analyze and investigate any payroll issues that may arise. Works with internal (e.g. employee and HR team) and external stakeholders (e.g. payroll vendors) to understand the situation and recommend solutions. Escalate complex issues to the respective owners.
- Responsible to develop and document payroll process improvements as needed
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Provide training and documentation of payroll process to team members and internal partners as needed.
