**PURPOSE**:
Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) is a newly formed function within Takeda with the objective of enabling Takeda’s business strategy, delivering simplification and cost reduction, improving service and providing a transformation engine for continuous improvement for Takeda. **Building and Delivering Simplified and Innovative Solutions** is our overarching vision with Patients at the center of all that we do.

Within the framework of TBS People Solutions, and in close partnership with Human Resources and Finance, the Payroll and Benefit Specialist will work responsible for the payroll and benefit operations of assigned countries:

- Management of day to day payroll operations - payroll changes, banking requirements for salary and tax payments and month end reconciliations.
- Provide support on benefits administration.
- Management of outsourced vendor services, ensuring quality and achievement of agreed SLAs.
- Provide timely resolution to stakeholders' queries.
- On and off-boarding.
- Support ad hoc projects as required.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Payroll
- Ensure payroll inputs are consolidated, processed accurately and timely in accordance with country local requirements and as guided by the Payroll COE, ensuring the controls and segregation of duties are adhered to.
- Ensure all equity transactions are captured and processed within the pay periods.
- Complete month end payroll and support Time and Attendance (T&A) activities.
- Schedule, facilitate and participate in payroll-related meetings and presentations.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external agencies, e.g. Payroll COE, Revenue, etc.
- Prepare employee and payroll related payments.
- Work with other TBS / HR functions to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information.
- Work with external providers regarding specific payroll treatment for employees e.g. expatriate, international assignments & equity as guided by the Payroll COE.
- Assist in regular audits.
- Ensure a consistent focus and involvement in driving efficiencies and process improvements.

- Create and present a dashboard of activity each month to support and partner with COEi.
- Any adhoc support and maintenance with Benefit vendors and the Platform.

**Fullfillment activities**:

- Locally supported activities relate to, but not limited to, the retrieval/updating of hard copy employee files, gaining wet signatories from those authorised for contract addendums and any documentation needed to complete a process.
- Performs other HR Operations related duties and assignments required as assigned by lead, supervisor or manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education and Experience**
- University Degree and 2 to 4 years of HR Workforce Administration Operations experience, additional CIPP qualifications preferred.
- Min 2 years experience in similar role with payroll experience desirable
- Proven background in optimizing and delivering of payroll and benefits administration operations and services.
- Payroll certification desirable
- Understanding of Equity and Mobility programs
- HR operations or shared services environment or HR Functional experience preferred (i.e. HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Staffing, HR Service Center, etc.).
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Knowledge of Workday desirable
- Strong excel skills
- Written and Spoken Bahasha Indonesia language is advantageous
