Procurement Specialist for Capital Projects

We are embarking on a landmark pharmaceutical facility development in Tuas, Singapore.
About the RoleThis is a pivotal position in ensuring robust procurement strategies and contract execution for a complex project.
The successful applicant will work closely with stakeholders to define and execute capital procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and governance requirements.
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities for high-value equipment and services.
- Manage contract negotiations and ensure commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive cost efficiencies through strong negotiation skills and strategic sourcing.
- Oversee supplier selection, qualification, and performance management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement experience, including at least 5 years in capital project procurement.
- Proven experience supporting major pharmaceutical capital projects, preferably within a multinational environment.
- Strong exposure to global project teams and working effectively across time zones with colleagues and vendors internationally.
- Familiarity with various project delivery models, including EPCM and Construction Management (CM).
- Proficient in SAP procurement operations and contract management workflows.
This is a contractual position based in Singapore, requiring travel between the project office and construction site.
