Programme Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Programme Management Specialist to cover capital projects. This is a key role within our Regional PMO Group, providing programme management services and working closely with clients on high-profile projects.

This position requires the ability to work independently, develop project scope and scale, and manage project expenditures while ensuring compliance with client procedures. You will be responsible for managing project finances, communicating with stakeholders, and escalating issues when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as their single point of contact for strategy, implementation, and escalation.
  • Develop annual capital plans, defining project scope, scale, and budget, and proactively manage these plans throughout the capital planning cycle.
  • Prepare forecasts for project expenditures, assist in defining scope and schedule, and drive compliance in capturing data for reporting purposes.
  • Manage changes to project scope or budget, reporting and managing these changes in accordance with client procedures.
  • Guide project managers, ensuring they deliver projects to specification, on time, and within budget, adhering to quality standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in construction-related disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • International experience in capital works and/or programmes, with multiple projects.
  • Post-graduate degree in a business-related field and more than 5 years of relevant experience.
